OUR BOSTONS on the BAYOU

A little bit about us
We are Wanda and Kermit Bowman, co-owners of "Bostons on the Bayou." Our dogs allow us to live with them on a beautiful 4 acre home site located in central Louisiana overlooking Bayou Beouf. We currently have 3 Bostons, Pepper, Sassy and Cinder.
We also have two other dogs; a shepherd-rottweilter mix who is very sweet and a great watch dog, and a yellow lab-retreiver mix that insists she must pick the plums and cantalopes from our orchard and garden.
We've been raising Bostons for over 25 years. Our goal has always been to raise exceptional Boston Terriers. We love their wonderful personality, unconditional love and pleasing attitude.
Through the years we have enjoyed many wonderful companions.
In 2006 we lost our beloved Belle. She was a loving member
of our family and died at 9 years leaving a void in our lives.
We could not even think of another Boston taking her place.
She was perfect.
After about 2 1/2 years, we considered looking for another Boston and then found our
Louisiana Pistol Pepper, at Hidden Valley Kennels in Michigan. Cute as he could be!

Six months later we found our Louisiana Sasafras via Lacy at Lacy's Mount Olympus Kennels in Ohio. We call her Sassy, and she is true to her name. She is a wonderful dog with a great personality and has proven to be a great mom. Pepper and Sassy both have sweet calming attitudes. We are very fortunate to have them.
